Today is one of those surreal moments — the kind where your heart feels full and fragile at the same time.
Remnants: A Journey through Grief, Love and Becoming is officially out in the world.
I’ve been trying to find the right words to talk about this book, but maybe that’s the thing about Remnants — it was born from all the moments when there were no words, only feelings too vast to contain, and silences too loud to ignore.
This book is a collection of poetry, yes. But more than that, it’s a map of my inner landscape — the parts that have broken, healed, scarred, and begun again. It’s about the long road of grief, the unexpected softness of memory, the echoes of love that never really leave us, and the quiet miracle of becoming something new after being undone.
For those of you who know me professionally, I’ve spent over 14 years helping brands shape narratives that speak with clarity and purpose. But this — this is the most vulnerable story I’ve ever told. These poems were written in the quiet hours, when the noise of the world faded and all that remained was feeling. They’ve been my anchors, my therapy, my truth.
To everyone who has ever lost someone or something they loved deeply, to those who have sat in the silence of grief, who have found themselves in the rubble of their own hearts and still dared to rebuild — Remnants is for you. You’re not alone.
This book is a deeply personal milestone — one that I never set out to reach, but one I’m endlessly grateful for. And now that it’s here, I hope it finds the people who need it most.
Thank you for holding space for this part of me.
With love and gratitude,
Aarti
